5th District

Posted on April 4, 2010

Fifth District Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is made of High School students who wish to make a difference in their community.  The council members come from various high schools throughout the Fifth District.  The Fifth District includes the cities of Banning, Beaumont, Cabazon, Moreno Valley, Perris, and many others as well as incorporated areas.   The YAC members are leaders, and are working hard to make a better future not only for themselves, but people all throughout Riverside County and beyond.   Working under Riverside County Supervisor Marion Ashley, they are more than willing to go out and perform community-based projects and do all that they can to help.  Besides making their presence known throughout the fifth district by community service, they help identify and try and help solve some of the problems affecting teenagers today.
